Credence Management Solutions, LLC, is seeking an Instructor of Civil Engineering Housing Management who will be primarily responsible for supporting the Air Force Institute of Technology Civil Engineering School (AFIT/CE) at WPAFB, OH.   AFIT/CE is the Air Force's sole provider of professional continuing education courses in civil engineering. With more than 70 courses and seminars, the school plans, develops, and conducts resident and distance learning courses and programs to satisfy the professional continuing educational needs of civil engineer customers from the Air Force, DoD, and other federal agencies. More than 5,500 students receive education from AFIT/CE each year.   The school currently offers Air Force courses ranging in length from two days to 12 weeks in the disciplines of technical civil engineer courses, environmental, engineering management, and housing.  It is also the leader in distance and blended learning education for the civil engineering workforce, providing the tools, skills, and abilities to manage the entire spectrum of a civil engineering expertise through various media and forums.

This position will be hired under Public Health Institute (PHI).   Access to a choice of quality, affordable contraceptive methods is an essential component in the provision of family planning and reproductive (FP/RH) services, and in turn the ability of women and men to make reproductive choices.  However, because of inadequate and unreliable financing for contraceptive supplies and the supply chains needed to distribute them, many low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) are unable to maintain access to FP/RH services for people who need them, most especially the poor and near poor. GH is responsible for advancing field-relevant, state-of-the-art research and the transfer of new technologies and approaches to field programs. The Service Delivery Improvement Division (SDI) is one of four divisions in PRH. SDI develops and applies innovative strategies across a range of public, private, and community sectors that improve the performance of individuals, organizations, and systems for the sustainable delivery of quality family planning and reproductive health services. SDI and the Maternal, Newborn and Child Health and Nutrition Office collaborate on a number of projects with integrated approaches to expanding access to and use of quality MNCH/FP/RH services, such as postpartum family planning, postabortion care, and fistula prevention and repair, each of which includes skilled clinical care. Increasingly, the countries PRH serves are affected by fragility and shocks and stresses which can have detrimental effects on access to and use of quality family planning and reproductive health services, including for underserved and marginalized populations, such as adolescents and youth. The Senior Family Planning Technical Advisor, Fragile Settings will primarily support the Service Delivery Improvement Division of Office of Population and Reproductive Health (PRH) as a PHI Institutional Support Contractor (ISC). In this role, the selected candidate will provide family planning expertise and technical assistance for SDI on best practices for implementing and advancing family planning and reproductive health programs in fragile settings and in leveraging FP/RH programs to support resilience activities in the humanitarian-development-peace nexus. ETD implements USAID’s Global Health Security (GHS) Program to strengthen prevention, detection, and response capacities in partner countries to minimize threats posed by emerging infectious diseases. Viruses are spilling over from animals to humans with increased frequency. Global systems are ill-equipped to identify and contain threats and lack sufficient attention to the capacities necessary to achieve health security.    USAID’s GHS program fills critical gaps in building sustained and coordinated One Health capacities that incorporate linkages between human, animal, and environmental health. In collaboration with countries and working with a unique set of multi-sectoral partners, the GHS Program strengthens preparedness and ensures capacities are in place to:  1) Prevent avoidable disease outbreaks; 2) Detect threats early; 3) Respond rapidly and effectively when outbreaks occur.   The Data Analyst provides strategic information analytic support to ETD. The Data Analyst utilizes statistical approaches and software programs to conduct analyses and visualization to inform GHS monitoring, reporting, budgeting, and data application for learning, adaptation and communications products. The Data Analyst provides technical support for the application of GHS data analysis and visualization to improve use of financial and program data to assess program performance, promote efficiencies, optimize resources, and communicate progress to internal and external audiences. The Data Analyst compiles and organizes epidemiologic, programmatic, and budgetary data for a variety of products aimed at a diverse audience, including USAID, external partners, and the public.
