Credence has an immediate need for an Administrative Associate in support of the Air Force Institute of Technology Civilian Institute Programs (AFIT/CI) directorate at WPAFB, OH. 

 

The Air Force Institute of Technology Civilian Institution Programs (CIP) responds when needed by the Air Force to fulfill a new mission, take new direction, and to satisfy new requirements. Once officers are selected by their respective force development teams at the Air Force Personnel Center, the AFIT Civilian Institution Programs staff is officially notified of selected individuals. Program Managers then work with the selected officers from selection through confirmation of graduation or program completion.

 

The school currently offers Air Force courses ranging in length from two days to five weeks in the disciplines of Acquisition Management, Engineering Management, and Sustainment. It is also the leader in web-based education for the Acquisition and Logistics Workforce, providing the tools, skills, and abilities to manage the entire spectrum of a systems life cycle.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

  • Provide administrative support to government personnel, including the AFIT/CI programs director, division chiefs, program managers, and other office staff by performing administrative support duties and responsibilities.
  • Track, and schedule leadership staff meeting frequencies, and will schedule meetings for the director, as needed.
  • Ensure the school operating instructions are current and shall coordinate and arrange visits and support visits hosted by the school.
  • Update and maintain additional duty rosters, assignment letters, organization charts, recall rosters and phone listing.
  • Assist with the new employee in-processing system and name plates for all assigned individuals.
  • Oversee timecard administration and assist staff and faculty with use of the timecard system.
  • Track suspense requirements in the Government-provided system.
  • Provide administrative support with various systems, such as DTS, AFRIMS, (ATAAPS), AFIT/CIM SharePoint and other organizational databases.
  • Assist with presentation formatting, including but not limited to staff meeting slides.
  • Assist with ordering office supplies, gathering requests for supplies, and preparing and itemizing various lists for supplies and equipment to be procured by the Government office.
  • Create, review, and edit various official documents for AFIT/CI Leadership.
  • Review, edit, change and monitor daily schedules of the AFIT/CI Leadership.

Education, Requirements and Qualifications

  • Clearance: Tier 1
  • Two years applied experience in the field of Administrative Support
