Credence is seeking an Acquisition Specialist to provide comprehensive support to the Acquisition Hub Portfolio within the AC Directorate at Space Systems Command. This role involves delivering digital solutions, managing IT tools, supporting database development and maintenance, and facilitating the deployment of innovative acquisition tools and processes. The specialist will work closely with government personnel to ensure effective implementation and integration of acquisition systems and digital platforms.

Salary Range

Full salary range for this position is $150,000 to $185,000 per year, with the starting salary determined based on candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, as well as budget availability.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

  • Support the development and deployment of digital solutions aligned with Acquisition Hub objectives including SCAP, training tools, performance review systems, onboarding, and outreach platforms.
  • Conduct research, develop use cases, wireframes, and business cases to support digital transformation and policy innovation.
  • Utilize SSC-approved software tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, PowerBI, Tableau, Python, ServiceNow, and others.
  • Execute program assessments and compliance evaluations through IPT structures.
  • Develop and maintain implementation guides, standardized processes, and assist in policy development in accordance with SSC, USSF, DOD, and other federal directives.
  • Serve as Implementation Manager to guide and train personnel on the use of Acquisition Hub tools and digital solutions.
  • Design, develop, transition, and maintain standard functional databases and web-based applications using platforms like SharePoint and Open Text Content Server.
  • Analyze workforce data and visualize metrics to support leadership decision-making.
  • Apply Agile and DevOps methodologies to develop and prototype digital tools and manage multiple concurrent software development efforts.
  • Design and build web-based applications, forms, surveys, and mobile interfaces to support acquisition processes.
  • Support data governance activities including data quality, security, integration, and compliance with the DATA Act.

Education, Requirements and Qualifications

  • US citizen with an active Secret security clearance is required.
  • Bachelors or Master's degree preferred.
  • 10 years demonstrated experience in related field.
  • Very knowledgeable of higher government headquarters, Air Force and Space Force, processes, and procedures as it relates to their functional responsibility.
  • Strong writing, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work closely with teammates and customers across internal and external organizations.
  • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy.
  • Experienced utilizing Microsoft tools
  • Experienced using TMT helpful. 

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

Ability to lift in excess of 25 lbs, standing for long periods of time, traveling across base regularly, transporting equipment, etc.
