Credence has an immediate opening for an Data Analyst to support the Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center (AFIMSC).  AFIMSC provides essential support to 78 Air Force and Space Force installations, managing an $8 billion budget across various mission-critical functions. To strengthen its data-driven decision-making, AFIMSC’s A9 Directorate seeks operations research and data analytics support through a non-personal services contract. This role will help address Installation & Mission Support challenges by delivering advanced analytical capabilities—such as modeling, AI, and data visualization—to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and strategic alignment with Department of the Air Force priorities.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

Status Reporting: 

  • Prepare and submit monthly status reports summarizing incidents, performance, problem areas, corrective actions, and outstanding issues
  • Provide updates on current and planned analytics projects, including staffing and customer points of contact
  • Document travel, meetings, recommendations, and analytic products delivered or scheduled

Project & Data Management: 

  • Support the development and execution of a comprehensive management plan and data management plan
  • Ensure quality control through a Quality Control Matrix (QCM) and compliance with Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs)
  • Implement configuration management, quality assurance, and access control procedures for all contract data

Personnel & Compliance: 

  • Maintain an up-to-date personnel roster including security clearance levels
  • Adhere to professional appearance and conduct standards
  • Complete DoD Cyber Awareness Training prior to network access and annually thereafter

Travel & Event Support: 

  • Participate in annual and contract-specific travel to support workshops, training, wargaming, and analytics support at various military bases and forums
  • Represent the contractor team in meetings and provide on-site analytics support as needed

Education, Requirements and Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.Willingness to travel up to 25% annually
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a government or defense environment
  • Proficiency in data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
