Overview

Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking a JWICS Systems Architect to support our Air Combat Command (ACC) Intelligence Directorate (A2) program out of Langley AFB, VA.

The IT Systems Architect shall be responsible for informing the program management office (PMO) on the feasibility of designs and implementation plans of comprehensive IT systems architecture solutions ensuring they align with the strategic objectives of the Organization.

This position will support A25- ISR Systems/Capabilities- Fielding capabilities/SPOs

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

 

  • Shall collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.

  • Review architectural designs and blueprints for IT systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.

  • Evaluate existing systems and infrastructure to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

  • Review, design, and implement plans of complex IT projects, including cloud migrations, virtualization initiatives, and enterprise-wide system upgrades.

  • Shall define standards and best practices for IT architecture and ensure adherence across the organization.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to PMO to understand risk factors during and throughout the lifecycle of IT systems.

  • Conduct regular assessments of IT systems to ensure alignment with industry trends and emerging technologies.

  • Review system performance metrics and provide feedback on recommended adjustments to optimize efficiency and performance.

  • Shall serve as the PMO subject matter expert on IT architecture principles, methodologies, and tools.

  • Stay informed about advancements in technology and recommend innovative solutions to enhance organizational capabilities.

  • Inform and collaborate on enterprise documents on plans and policies.

  • Develop roadmaps and strategy for Zero Trust implementation and federation with the rest of the AF Intelligence Community and national mission partners.

  • Perform analysis of existing and available IT system tools for monitoring, configuring, updating, and optimizing to determine proper suite of tools to maintain systems.

Education, Requirements and Qualifications

 

  • Active Top Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) required.
  • A Subject Matter Expert is an individual whose qualifications and/or particular expertise are exceptional and/or highly unique. Typically identified as recognized Industry leaders for a given area of expertise. Subject Matter Experts typically perform the following kinds of functions:  Initiates, supervises, and/or develops requirements from a project’s inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs; Provides strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staff; Provides detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues; Consults with client to define need or problem supervises studies and leads surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

Job may require the employee to be:

  • In a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Able to ascend/descend stairs as required.
  • Able to move equipment not to exceed 25 lbs as needed.
  • Availability to travel CONUS/OCONUS if required.
