- US citizenship or US permanent residency with the ability to obtain and maintain Facility Access required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a nursing or healthcare-related field, Master’s Degree is highly desired
- Four (4) years of experience in healthcare or PS-related field, or equivalent. Experience in civilian inpatient or outpatient medical facility is required. Military experience is highly desired.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- The ability to work, organize time, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- The ability to pay attention to detail and effectively communicate patient safety concepts to leadership.
- Experience with patient safety aspects of healthcare accreditation (TJC) preferred.
- Experience performing CSAs, typically a Root Cause Analysis or similar methodology.
- Experience performing PRAs, typically a Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) or similar methodology.
- Knowledge in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to a broad range of functional areas in quality/performance improvement practices is highly desirable.
- Baccalaureate level skills in written and oral communications, public speaking and fostering positive interpersonal relationships
Full salary range for this position is: $60,000-70,000 per year with the starting salary determined based on candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and education, in addition to budget availability.
