The Global Health Training, Advisory and Support Contract (GHTASC) delivers effective global health programming to advance the mission of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Bureau for Global Health (GH) through institutional support and workforce development services from junior, mid-level, senior and expert advisory, and administrative professionals.
Credence and its partner, the Public Health Institute (PHI), are both employers for GHTASC, and are seeking a Digital Health Advisor under GHTASC. This position will be hired under Public Health Institute (PHI).
Position Summary:
The Digital Health Advisor will primarily support the Center for Innovation and Impact (CII) as a PHI Institutional Support Contractor (ISC). In this role, the selected candidate will help operationalize the new USAID Digital Health Position Paper (2024-2029), undertaking related activities, including developing case studies and technical guidance notes, supporting the USAID Digital Health Working Group, and liaising with partner bureaus and offices to align with efforts implementing the USAID Digital Policy (2024-2034) www.usaid.gov/digital-health-policy. The position may also provide project management and technical assistance support to country-based digital health activities including technical assistance, strategic planning, procurement design, project implementation, and monitoring and evaluation. The position will be part of a dynamic and entrepreneurial team that supports the Global Health Bureau and health offices in USAID offices globally by providing thought leadership, building partnerships, and delivering technical excellence.
The Digital Health Advisor will be expected to have experience in delivering digital health technical assistance in low- and middle-income country contexts, as well as familiarity with recent developments in the global, multilateral, donor, and country policy environments that are reshaping the future of digital health investments and implementation, including development and use of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions in global health. The position would work in close partnership with Senior Digital Health Advisors in CII as well as related positions in Washington DC and in country offices.
The position would be an integral member of the CII team, collaborating across, and contributing to, CII’s broader portfolio of innovation, market access, and other activities. The individual should be a highly motivated and entrepreneurial person with outstanding problem solving, analytical, project management, communication, and collaboration skills. The candidate must be able to function well independently and on teams and have a commitment to excellence and producing results.
Full salary range for this position is $97,500 to $152,620 per year, with the starting salary determined based on candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, as well as budget availability.
