Overview

Credence is seeking a Acquisition Contracting Support at the senior level for our Special Projects program. The Special Projects Branch consists of multiple PMOs which execute several classified bilateral programs owned by external agencies. Each PMO oversees the execution of requirements from numerous OEMs or support Contractors to meet mission requirements.

 

The Acquisition Contracting Support shall provide support to analyze contract data in the execution of duties related to LCM of weapon systems.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

  • Price/Cost evaluation support (note: Contractor shall not participate in any negotiations)
  • Contract close-out activities
  • Data collection/compilation/analysis
  • Clerical/administrative/office operations support
  • Administering training associated with contract activities

Education, Requirements and Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
  • Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in DoD acquisition,
  • Or, bachelor’s degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in DoD acquisition.
  • Or, 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, eight of which must be in DoD acquisition.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Experience with Defense Acquisition System processes including UCA, MTA, MCA, SW Acquisition and Acquisition of Services.

Recommended Professional Qualifications:

  • Acquisition Qualification, and Professional Contracting Qualification
    • Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM) and/or Contracting Professional from the National Contract Management Association, 
    • Or, holds a DAWIA certification as a Certified Defense Acquisition Contracting functional area certification, 
    • Or, has taken DAU courses CON 1100, CON 1200, CON 1300 and CON 1400 or equivalent

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

Job may require the employee to be:

  • Willingness to travel if required.
  • In a stationary position 50% of the time
  • Able to ascend/descend stairs as required
  • Able to move equipment not to exceed 25 lbs. as needed.
