Overview

Credence is seeking a Technical Lead with strong hands-on development skills and expertise in software frameworks and standards-based technology stacks. This role involves leading technical efforts, actively coding, and ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality software with a strong emphasis on secure coding practices, test automation, and micro-services architecture.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

  • Hands-on Development: Actively write, review, and optimize code to ensure performance and maintainability.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead by example, setting coding standards and driving best practices within the team.
  • Test Automation: Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure high software quality and streamline the testing process.
  • Software Factory: Oversee and contribute to the development process in a Software Factory environment, ensuring streamlined workflows and integration across teams.
  • Architecture and Design: Collaborate on designing scalable and robust software solutions that align with business needs.
  • Code Reviews: Conduct thorough code reviews, providing feedback to maintain high code quality.
  • Problem Solving: Address technical challenges promptly, implementing effective, scalable, and secure solutions.
  • Mentorship: Guide and support junior developers, fostering their technical growth, with a focus on secure coding techniques.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead efforts to optimize development processes, adopting new tools, methodologies, secure coding, and test automation practices to enhance productivity and quality.

 

 

Education, Requirements and Qualifications

Technical Stacks:

  • Frontend & Backend Development: Expertise in modern frontend frameworks (React.js, Angular) and backend technologies (Node.js, Java, .NET Core, Python) for building scalable and secure applications.
  • Infrastructure & Tools: Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, containerization), database management (SQL, NoSQL), test automation, and version control systems.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • Experience: 7+ years of software development experience, including experience in a Software Factory environment
  • US Citizen

Technical Skills:

  • Adept in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, node.js, react.js).
  • Experience with modern development tools, frameworks, and Software Factory practices.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, secure coding best practices, and test automation.
  • Experience with AWS cloud and cloud-native development.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
  • Knowledge of database systems (SQL, NoSQL).
  • Experience with CloudOne, PlatformOne, ECMA is a plus.
  • Experience working with Army, USAF software factories are a plus.
  • Experience working with Technical Challenges, Hackathon is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect.

  • SAFe Agile Certification
