Credence Management Solutions, LLC, is hiring an Overseas Contingency Operations Support Subject Matter Expert (SME) who will be primarily responsible for supporting HQ AFMC/A4/10 at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. 

 

The Headquarters Air Force Material Command Directorate of Logistics, Civil Engineering, Force Protection, and Nuclear Integration (HQ AFMC/A4/10) has the AFMC mission responsibility to: shape the workforce and infrastructure to provide logistics, sustainment, and installation support for acquisition logistics, supply management, depot maintenance, and base-level logistics operations, and deliver responsive strategic facility and infrastructure oversight and over-arching direction for all Major Command (MAJCOM) security operations…resulting in war-winning expeditionary capabilities.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

  • Support the HQ AFMC/A4/10 functional lead for the airman clothing and individual equipment programs relating to OCO-funded activities.
  • Assist with tracking of airman clothing and individual equipment items for current and emergent OCOs.
  • Analyze innovative and emerging technologies and new business improvement tools, including best business practices and processes, and make recommendations for improving program efficiencies and for reducing total life cycle costs.
  • Collaborate with all branches of the military, including participation in joint meetings/ working groups, provide meeting minutes/briefs, and track action items as directed by the government lead.
  • Provide support for the full-spectrum Class II products in the OCO portfolio, to include any new clothing and equipment requirements, as well as provide functional and technical assistance to help manage AF agreements related to the Class II clothing and textiles portfolio. 

Education, Requirements and Qualifications

  • Clearance: Secret or ability to obtain a Secret
  • Experience with AF inventory management processes, Supply Chain Management (SCM) processes, base and depot supply and warehouse functions, AF wholesale and retail IT systems, business case studies, operational research and maintenance, supply data, and IT analyses
  • Experience with AF materiel management policies and procedures, to include AF enterprise shelf-life management, redistribution, disposal, funding, enterprise systems, requirements determination and execution relating to clothing and textile asset management, including but not limited to chemical warfare defense equipment, mobility equipment management, and Individual Protective Equipment (IPE)

  • May be required to stand and walk two (2) hours a day
