Overview

Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to support one of Credence’s premier space programs where we are providing a broad range of acquisition capabilities and integrated program management solutions. This work will encompass space related research, development, production, operations & maintenance, and lifecycle acquisition activities directly impacting the Military Communication (MilComm) and Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Directorate.

 

Salary Range

Full salary range for this position is $140,000 to $250,000 per year, with the starting salary determined based on candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, as well as budget availability.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

  • Plan, direct, or coordinate the operations of United States Space Force (USSF) programs.
  • Formulate policies, manage daily operations, and plan the use of materials and human resources across program.
    • Diverse enough in nature to be not be tied directly to personnel, purchasing, or administrative services.
  • Breakdown of specific operational tasks/deliverables you will oversee:
    • Tools, Processes, and Procedures
      • Develop, Maintain, and Update implementation guides/charter in accordance with updated regulations and directives. 
      • Support the development, procurement, data collection, usage, modicfications/enhancements, implemendation, integration, testing, documentation, verification, validation, protection and maintenance of tools, processes, guidelines,methodologies, models, simulations, databases, web sites, reports, and applicaions of MilComm PNT Systems
    • Government Database Maintenance
      • Database accuracy and standardization
      • Creation of non-proprietary databases delivered in Government Accpetable format
  • Planning, Document Reviews, & Operational Assessments
    • Ensure docuemnte consistencey with applicable statutes, regulations and policies,
    • Oversee program documentation complinace
  • Reporting Discrepanceis, findings, and recommnedatons
    • Document and address any discrepancies through Government briefs
    • Manage self inspections checklists, staff assistance visitis, and internal control checklists
  • Contractor Recommendations
    • Provide recommendations to the Government on deliverables or services to perform in the public’s best interest.
    • Provide comment resolution matrix (CRM)

Education, Requirements and Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance is required
  • MA/MS Degree is required
  • Ten plus (10+) years demonstrated experience at a high-level     

  • Initiate, supervise, and/or develop requirements from a project’s inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs.
  • Provide strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staff.
  • Provide detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues.
  • Consults with client to define need or problem supervises studies and leads surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions.
