Overview

Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking a Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Management (MECM) Engineer to provide subject matter expertise to the DoJ Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) Network Management Branch.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert for the MECM environment.
  • Provide best practice solutions and recommendations for the environment.
  • Collaborate daily with BOP management, contractors and employees related to all things MECM.
  • Communicate closely with BOP junior engineer and BOP Program Manager to improve service and adhere to MECM best practices and internal procedures.
  • Maintain and operate endpoint management solutions using MECM, including policies, profiles, and applications.
  • Application and OS patch management for endpoint environment.
  • Develop and implement related automation solutions using PowerShell or other scripting languages.
  • Develop and maintain an imaging solution for Windows 11 computers.
  • Monitor and report on endpoint management solution performance and health of enrolled devices.
  • Document MECM environment, security controls, deployments, procedures, and other relevant activities.
  • Evaluate new Intune features and capabilities and make recommendations for their adoption.
  • Design & Deploy MECM across enterprise.

Education, Requirements and Qualifications

 

  • Ability to obtain a public trust is required.
  • Bachelor's degree (or sigificant equivalent expeirence).
  • Microsoft Certifications showing progressive and continuing education in technologies, such as MD-102, etc.
  • Expert in Windows OS architecture
  • Advanced skills in Device Configuration Management.
  • Expert in understanding of MECM tools.
  • Advanced skills in Active Directory
  • Advanced experience with PowerShell scripting
  • Experience with desktop OS deployment, imaging, and patching
  • Experience with application packaging, installation, and patching via MECM tools
  • Knowledge of built-in Microsoft desktop technologies
  • Ability to simply and clearly articulate technical concepts to senior leadership
  • Proven ability to work in a high paced, demanding environment.
  • Experience with understanding contract deliverables and providing quality, on-time deliverables.
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, and consultation skills
  • Must be able to function resourcefully and independently and work with a diverse team
  • Experience working within DOJ Offices, Boards, and Divisions (OBDs), with an understanding of unique organizational security policies and security controls implementations within specific IT environments is a plus.
