We are actively seeking an experienced Manpower Administrator to support the F-35 Lightning Sustainment Center at Wright- Patterson AFB, OH. 

 

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

  • Provide overall organization support for utilities of operations for all administrative functions, oversight for management information systems (MIS) and IT, ADPE equipment inventory, manages all Contractor Manpower Equivalents (CMEs), facility management, special projects, awards, training, performance management, manpower and human resource functions.
  • Assist with in/out-processing actions for the organization.
  • Assist with initiating and updating in/out-processing checklists and associated forms.
  • Schedule incoming personnel with in-processing appointments.
  • Brief incoming personnel and schedule/coordinate with other in-processing briefers.
  • Research a variety of manpower and military data to validate recommendations due to mission expansion.
  • Assist the military project lead for the organization. This support includes response to management requests to develop and coordinate all project plans for military fill actions, Permanent Changes of Assignment, Permanent Changes of Station, requisitions, by-name-request, answer questions, interpret data, and provide background data for military requirements.
  • Assist with development of military determinants, process improvements, organizational changes, and other organizational performance consultant studies.
  • Coordinate actions with Human Resources (HR) Chief and senior management officials based on multiple military issues.
  • Provide assistance to other manpower and personnel analysts regarding military personnel matters.
  • Respond to management requests to develop and coordinate all project plans for personnel matters for the organization including but not limited to answering questions, interpreting data, and providing background material.
  • Advise senior leaders, supervisors, and managers on resource issues.
  • Independently perform research and advises on a variety of issues of a sensitive nature that concern resource policies and procedures and related legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
  • Review draft regulations, directives, and other guidance and prepare recommendations and comments reflecting impact on local policy or practices.
  • Regularly meet with management officials to discuss work status, plan time phasing of placements, and to stay informed of functional issues, new workloads, long- range personnel end-state needs, problems encountered, and other matters that would impact recruitment and placement of military members.
  • Participate in special projects by applying analytical skills and expertise to improve OM services provided to the organization.
  • Respond to management requests to present and coordinate all military awards and decorations across the directorate.
  • Represent the organization with various functional area organizations to maintain the awards program and establish, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with all customers. This support includes meeting with key customers and coordinating officials to assess customer satisfaction, explain organization policy and procedures, resolve problems that arise, and provide management guidance and training.
  • Assist in managing the Directorate Military Decorations/Awards Programs working with the FOG analyst, Senior Functionals, and supervisors of AFLCMC/OZJ personnel.

Education, Requirements and Qualifications

  • Clearance: Secret or ability to obtain
  • Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of relevant experience (3 in DoD) or
  • Seven (7) years of relevant work experience (5 in DoD)
