We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Business Development Team Member, leveraging their extensive expertise to drive business growth and cultivate strategic partnerships within the Army Futures Command and beyond.

 

As a Senior Business Development Officer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth strategy within the defense sector, with a particular focus on the Army Technology  sector. Leveraging your extensive experience and network within the military community, you will identify and pursue new business opportunities, cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, and lead strategic initiatives to enhance our market presence and drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to identify and pursue new opportunities within the Army Technology sector and other relevant defense agencies.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including senior military officials, program managers, and procurement officers.
  • Lead the development of winning proposals, including market analysis, solution design, and pricing strategies, to secure new contracts and partnerships.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including engineering, operations, and marketing, to align business development efforts with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decision-making and drive innovation within the company.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote our capabilities and expand our reach within the defense community.

Education, Requirements and Qualifications

  • Retired Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) or Colonel (COL) with a distinguished military career and a strong understanding of Army acquisition processes and procedures preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a technology-related field, with a managing or developing systems, or deploying new technology to the Army.
  • Recent experience (within the last 5 years) at the Army Future Command or a similar organization within the defense sector.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with a results-oriented mindset and a demonstrated ability to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred.
